How do I request a takedown?
Send a clear request
Identify the artist, release title, UPC and the platforms or territories you want removed. If you want a full takedown, state that clearly.
Takedowns are not instant
Melodies Records can submit a removal request, but each platform controls when the content disappears from its service.
Keep your records
Save the identifiers and original metadata even after a takedown. They may be useful if you redistribute the same recording later.
Decide what should be removed
State whether the request concerns one track, a full release, selected stores or all available destinations. Check that you are authorized to act for the rights holder, particularly when a label or several collaborators are involved.
Allow for platform processing
A takedown request may need to pass through distribution partners and the platform’s own systems. The removal time can vary, and cached pages or search results may remain visible temporarily after a service updates its catalog.
Keep a record of the request
Save the UPC, relevant ISRCs, initial store links, reason for removal and date requested. If the intention is to move the music to another distributor, coordinate identifiers and timing before taking action so you can reduce avoidable interruptions.

Yêu cầu takedown có thể phải đi qua đối tác phân phối và hệ thống riêng của mỗi cửa hàng. Thời gian gỡ khác nhau; trang lưu bộ nhớ đệm hoặc kết quả tìm kiếm có thể còn hiển thị tạm thời sau khi catalog được cập nhật.
Lưu hồ sơ yêu cầu
