Certain text, credit or mapping changes may be updateable depending on the platform.
Major changes are different
Replacing the core recording, changing the primary identity of a release or restructuring tracks can require a new delivery.
Ask before making assumptions
Send support the current release URL and the exact change you need so the safest method can be reviewed.
Separate minor and major changes
Typos in credits or a profile-mapping correction may be handled as metadata updates, depending on store rules. Replacing a master, changing the identity of the primary artist or substantially altering the track list can require a different workflow or a new product.
Use the appropriate request route
If your account offers a Request Update action, describe each proposed change and provide the original and replacement values. Avoid creating a duplicate delivery simply to correct one field; it can complicate storefront listings and reporting.
Understand the review period
Corrections are subject to internal checks and each store’s update process. Keep your existing links and identifiers ready, then verify the change separately on the affected services. Publication of an update at one store does not guarantee immediate synchronization everywhere.
