How do I request a takedown?
What to include when asking Melodies Records to remove a release.
Send a clear request
Identify the artist, release title, UPC and the platforms or territories you want removed. If you want a full takedown, state that clearly.
Takedowns are not instant
Melodies Records can submit a removal request, but each platform controls when the content disappears from its service.
Keep your records
Save the identifiers and original metadata even after a takedown. They may be useful if you redistribute the same recording later.

Platform requirements and processing can change. When a store has its own policy or review system, the platform's current rules take priority.
