How does music distribution work?
From submission to store delivery in four stages.
1. Submit
You provide the release assets and metadata.
2. Review
The release is checked for technical quality, metadata accuracy, rights concerns and platform eligibility.
3. Deliver
Approved releases are sent to the selected digital platforms.
4. Platform processing
Each platform ingests the release, maps artist profiles and publishes according to its own systems.

Platform requirements and processing can change. When a store has its own policy or review system, the platform's current rules take priority.
