What are ISRC and UPC codes?
A quick guide to release identifiers.
ISRC
An ISRC identifies an individual sound recording. If you are moving the same recording between distributors, preserving the existing ISRC is usually important.
UPC
A UPC or equivalent release-level code identifies the single, EP or album as a product.
Do not recycle codes for different recordings
A materially different recording should not reuse an identifier simply to inherit history from another track.
ISRC
ISRC định danh một sound recording cụ thể. Khi chuyển cùng một bản ghi giữa các distributor, việc giữ ISRC cũ thường rất quan trọng.
UPC
UPC hoặc mã tương đương định danh cả single, EP hoặc album như một sản phẩm.
